Description
About this book
The ANZCA Pathway course prepares students for ANZCA music theory exams. The Pathway course forms a clearly-explained guide to music theory which introduces concepts in a logical and sequential progression. Exercises and revision reinforce the learning of the student. This book serves as a resource for understanding written music and a reference for practical performance work.
ANZCA Pathway to Grade Five
Pathway to Grade Five is the sixth book in the series which continues the clear, concise but comprehensive style of Pathway to Grade Four.
Theory of Music at Grade Four and above, represents a change of level. As such, the student needs to get a greater grasp on the materials.
Grades Four, Five and Six are interrelated, so it will be best to have the Grade Four book on hand for reference. A lot of the material in Grade Five will already have been discussed in the Grade Four book.
Pathway to Grade Five follows the requirements as laid out in the ANZCA syllabus, and presents these in the same order, which corresponds to the order of questions in the theory examination paper.
Grade Five Theory is the requisiste for Grade Eight Practical, and is a prerequisite (with a Credit result or higher) for the Associate Performer Diploma.
