The Taigor Classic Alto Sax Mouthpiece is an extremely versatile mouthpiece. It is not overly bright or overly dark. It can be used for pop, jazz, bossa or classical music. It offers a full-bodied sound in the low register and a pleasant sound in the higher registers. As well as this, it offers excellent projection and a very accurate response. It is suitable to both students and professionals.
Available in tip openings 6 and 7.
“The ‘Classic M’ mouthpieces feature a medium to mild dark tone. With great response in the lower register this piece has a distinct sweetness in the higher notes, aided by the metal body ring. This piece has its place as a solid intermediate mouthpiece with a nice rounded warm sound and good tonal focus. The ‘Classic M’ pieces do feel as though they require a little more air than other Taigor mouthpieces, as well as good embouchure strength.”

About Taigor Mouthpieces
Brazilian company Taigor was born in early 2015 and aims to bring quality and efficiency to the saxophone market.
Taigor mouthpieces are made with molds to ensure a consistent manufacturing process. All finishing and adjustment is done by hand, and the mouthpieces are tested individually.
The company seeks to use the newest technologies and the best raw materials to acquire a superior sound quality, equivalent to the best mouthpieces available.
As well as this, Taigor mouthpieces are only ever polished and never painted to maintain the quality of the material and provide excellent tone colours.
Some endorsers of the Taigor Mouthpiece line-up include Kelven Alves, Danila Macedo, David Calixto Souza and Ronaldo Silva.
