Hagerty’s Silver Spray is used to clean and maintain silver and silver-plated objects. Apart from using this on your silverware, this product can be used carefully on solid silver, sterling silver and silver plated musical instruments. Some care needs to be taken when using this product on your musical instrument. Please see below for important information.

Hagerty Silver Spray cleans and takes care of silver and silver-plated items. Silver Spray makes your solid silver, sterling silver or silver plated items shine. It protects from oxidation for several weeks and removes dirt from any silver or silver-plated objects.

The spray is ideal to take care of engraved silver items. No residue is left as a very thin layer of formula is applied. The cleaning is easy, gives almost instant results and does not cause any micro-scratches or marks on the metal.

As this product comes in a spray can, the silver spray can be shipped within Australia by road transport only.

A Small Word of Warning

We use Hagerty products in our own workshop and know them to be safe IF used correctly. However, the use of any kind of silver treatment on your musical instrument is entirely at your own risk; we do not take responsibility for any damage or other problems occurring as a result of the (mis)use of this product.

Domestic use of Hagerty Silver Spray on woodwinds is not recommended as the spray doesn’t interact well with woodwind instrument pads. Leave it to your professional repair technician to use this product on your flute or other silver/silver plated woodwind instrument.

Silver or silver plated brass instruments: make sure to remove your pistons/valves from the instrument before spraying Hagerty Silver Spray onto your instrument. After polishing, be sure to give your valve casings a good cleanout to get rid of any potential residue.
