ANZCA Pathway to Grade Four
Pathway to Grade Four is the fifth book in the series which continues the clear, concise but comprehensive style of Pathway to Grade Three.
Theory of Music at Grade Four and above, represents a change of level. As such, the student needs to get a greater grasp on the materials.
It is possible to pass a theory exam just by following a few set rules. It is of course far better to know and understand why these rules exist in the first place. This will better enable the student to know what rule to use and why.
Pathway to Grade Four follows the requirements as laid out in the ANZCA syllabus, and presents these in the same order, which corresponds to the order of questions in the theory examination paper.
There are plenty of exercises, and these should all be completed. In addition, there are some revision tests, and finally, a group of Test Papers in the format and style of the actual ANZCA exams. The time allowed to complete a paper at Grade Four level is three hours.
