Description

The Barkley VERDOT is a balanced mouthpiece, designed to accentuate the treble register while maintaining a good dose of bass so that the sound remains balanced. It allows great control over the entire range of the instrument, even though it is a metal mouthpiece.

The VERDOT is designed with a concave baffle (a deflector dug right after the tip rail that favours the emission of the bass) followed by a step baffle (which generates a mix of low and high frequencies). It is finished with a floor in the shape of a ladder, where the frequencies generated in the concave and step baffles are equalised. The result: a mouthpieces with a fantastic balance.
