Lightweight, Flexible, and Effortless

Based on the same proven design as the ERGOsax BariBass, the TenAlt model is built specifically for the needs of alto and tenor players. It uses a slim, lightweight telescopic rod suited to smaller horns, but still provides the same freedom and flexibility of movement. You can turn, tilt, and reposition your saxophone with ease as you play.

Quick Setup, No Fuss

Attach the aluminium support head to your saxophone’s neck strap ring with a simple click. Then adjust the telescopic rod to suit your height and playing position. The design works just as well whether you’re seated or standing, and it takes only seconds to get set up.

Playing Seated? No Problem.

While seated, place the support tube beside your right thigh. Set the approximate height, then fine-tune by raising or lowering the saxophone before tightening the support. The instrument will float comfortably, allowing you to rest, reposition, or even take your hands off between phrases. Once balanced correctly, the saxophone remains stable and secure.

Move Naturally and Breathe Freely

The ERGOsax Alto & Tenor Saxophone Support removes unnecessary tension, freeing your upper body and allowing for deeper, more efficient breathing. The result is a more relaxed, controlled playing experience with better posture, better airflow, and better tone.

With the saxophone safely supported, switching to a secondary instrument like clarinet becomes easier. The sax remains in place without needing to be put down, saving time and effort during quick changes.

Use Your Strap for Extra Safety

While the ERGOsax can be used on its own, we strongly recommend using a neck strap or harness as well for added security. Each TenAlt includes a secondary strap ring adaptor for this purpose. Just insert it into the support head and tighten the screw after adjusting the rod to your preferred height.
