About Rigotti

If you ever travel around in the heart of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez,  along the rivers and streams, you will see the reed growing. Here is where you can find Cogolin, a small Provençal village, internationally recognised for the manufacturing of carpets and pipes, but especially for Rigotti, a company which produces pads, reeds and tools for woodwind instruments since 1966.

The company was managed by Franco Rigotti until 2012 and subsequently by his son Daniel, both excellent craftsmen. Rigotti reeds have built a solid reputation in the world of woodwinds and are used by some of the most distinguished bassoonists, oboists, saxophonists and clarinettists around the world.

Contrary to a lot of reed manufacturers, Rigotti don’t buy the reed, but cultivate and pick it themselves. Due to increasing demand for Rigotti products, the company has recently upgraded their factory buildings in order to be able to offer a larger selection of products to manufactures, importers, shops, and of course musicians…

Rigotti Establishments have totally mastered the reed production process and attach great importance to the international  recognition of their know-how.
