Description

The Taigor Cannon Evolution 8 Tenor Sax Mouthpiece offers an internal metal ring. This ring acts as a resonator, transmitting more vibration to the saxophone, providing a warm sound.

Its well designed beak offers great playing comfort. This mouthpiece produces a bright, full-bodied sound in the middle and low registers, and a well-defined sound in all the registers.

The Taigor Cannon Evolution Tenor Sax Mouthpiece is suitable to medium to advanced saxophonists and ideal for those who like styles like romantic pop and smooth jazz. Currently only available in tip opening 8.

Brazilian company Taigor was born in early 2015 and aims to bring quality and efficiency to the saxophone market.

Taigor mouthpieces are made with molds to ensure a consistent manufacturing process. All finishing and adjustment is done by hand, and the mouthpieces are tested individually.

    The Canon is a great mouthpiece that lives up to Taigor’s claims. Easy blowing, wonderfully focused, matched with a Legere Signature (2.25) and Olegature wire mesh ligature, it plays very similar to the MBII. The table, tip & rails are skillfully hand finished, the size, weight and feel is that of a much more expensive mouthpiece. My expectations were pleasantly exceeded with the product.
    I was a bit leary of ordering from a company half way around the world, but LCWB proved to be responsive and expedited delivery the same day as ordered. I was so pleased with the tenor MP, I ordered a Canon alto piece, and it too shipped the same day as ordered.
