Can I swap to a different instrument during my hire period?

Yes, you can, but certain conditions apply.

If you are renting a preloved instrument, please call us on 1300 83 94 97 to discuss your options. Swapping to another instrument will depend on rental stock availability. Hire fees will be adjusted if necessary.

If you’re on a purchase plan for a brand-new instrument, you can swap to a different instrument, but a new purchase plan will need to be set up for the replacement. Payments made on the original plan cannot be transferred, and no discounts will apply. As well as that, please note that if you end your existing purchase plan before completing the minimum 6-month hire period, the early exit fee stated in your Rental Agreement will also be charged.

For this reason, swapping instruments during a brand-new purchase plan is generally not recommended. If you’re unsure which instrument is the best fit, we suggest starting with a preloved instrument rental first. This allows you to try it out before committing to a purchase plan on a new instrument.
